At Elgin Smiles Dental Care, we know that visiting the dentist for the first time can be a source of anxiety. Our friendly and experienced dental team in Elgin, TX, will put you at ease and work with you to create the most effective and comfortable treatment plan that makes your visit worthwhile.

Your first appointment with our dentist in Elgin typically begins with a comprehensive dental exam and review of your medical history. We will provide the treatment you require on your first dental visit unless you have a complex dental need or medical history.

Please provide the following information at the time of your appointment or consultation:

  • A list of all your current medications.
  • Any recent dental X-rays (if available).
  • Details about your dental insurance coverage (if applicable) for efficient claim processing.

Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian or parent. Please inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions that might affect your treatment, such as fever, high blood pressure, diabetes, complete joint replacement, or artificial heart valves.

Payment Options

For your convenience, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Amex, and Discover. Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

We also offer dental financing plans through Cherry and CareCredit for patients without insurance or those facing more extensive procedures. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Amazing service and friendly staff! Dr. Fahmy is the best dentist I have ever had! I would highly recommend Elgin Smiles to anyone. We travel in from Austin just to see him. He really takes his time with each patient and doesn’t rush through the exam (which has typically been my experience at more corporate, chain dentist offices). He noticed I had a chip on my bottom tooth that I hadn’t even noticed yet and was able to fix it up right then and there! The receptionists and dental assistants are also all wonderful kind people that make the dental experience very pleasant!
